How do I access library resources from off campus?

UNIST members can access the Library’s electronic resources (e.g. e-Books, journal papers and scholarly databases) remotely via several methods.

Typical method is access electronic websites via the Library website, using proxy server.

 

How to Use Off-Campus Access: The Library’s Proxy Server
  1. Access via the Library website
    1) Log in to the the Library website > Check ‘OFF-CAMPUS ACCESS ON’ on the top-right of the website;
    2) Go to E-Resources Databases or E-Journals or E-Books and select a website link.
  2. URL direct access or Use a bookmark
    – To access a specific website directly, enter ‘https://proxyon.unist.ac.kr/link.n2s?url=’ in front of the original address of the resource website 
  3. Access through the the Library catalog search results: Click the ‘Online access’ or ‘Full text available’ links from the search results page
  4. Use ‘The Library Link (Find it @ UNIST)’ functions: ‘Google Scholar’ and ‘Naver Academic’ provide the Library links for off-campus access. To set the link, please refer to the attached guidelines.
