Special Services for Undergraduates


    The library provides ‘Special Library Services’ for undergraduate students to support their online learning and research activities from home amidst COVID-19. We hope these special services can support their achievement during this spring semester.

  • Can I enter the library?
    Yes. The library provides limited service time and closed facilities. Please check the related notice first when you visit the library.
  • Can I borrow library books outside of campus?
    Yes. Please check the ‘Terms of Request’ on the notice and send us a Request Form by email (library@unist.ac.kr)
  • Can I get some copies of books not available to check-out (e.g. Basic Science Books, Course Reserves)?
    Yes. If you don’t have overdue fine or materials, please check  Available Copy List and send us a Request Form  by email (library@unist.ac.kr)
  • Can I borrow a checked out book?
    Yes. Please first make a reservation for the borrowed book on the library website. When the book becomes available, the library will send a notification message (via email or SMS). To borrow the reserved book(s), you need to submit a request form by email (library@unist.ac.kr)
  • Can I borrow DVDs outside of campus?
    No. To borrow DVDs, you must visit the library
  • Can I request a new book not available in the library?
    Yes. You can request ‘Recommend a Purchase’ or ‘Interlibrary Borrowing’ services on the library website.
  • Can I return library materials by delivery service?
    Yes. However, you must pay the delivery fee. The library will pay on delivery only for recalled books using ePost.
