What is Journal?

• Scholarly journals are usually published by societies or academic publishers regularly to announce the latest research result in specific fields.
• Most of researchers are refer to various journals to find related articles of their research.

학술지(Journal)란?

• 학회 및 학술 출판사에서 동일한 표제(Title) 아래 권, 호 (Volume, Issue)로 정기적으로 간행하는 자료
• 각 주제 분야의 최신이론이나 연구 결과를 정리한 논문(Article)을 수록
• 해당 주제 분야의 권위있는 심사위원들의 평가 (Peer-review)를 거쳐 출판되는 연구 결과물로 공신력 있는 핵심 정보원
• 학술지는 최신 연구 결과를 획득하는 수단일 뿐만 아니라 자신의 연구 결과를 발표하고 다른 연구자들과 커뮤니케이션 하는 수단이기도 함.

최신 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해서는 연구 분야의 주요 학술지를 리뷰하는 것도 잊지 마세요!
